Lenten Reading: John 6:32-36
32Then Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but is is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." 34They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread Always." 35Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever come to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe."

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12)

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

"I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts." (Revelation 21:6) "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." (Matthew 24:35) "... I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20) Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:24-25)
